Birthday Brunching With The Boy

One thing I wanted to do this year, was take the day off and just hang out with the boy. Keeping it simple and relaxed, we got up and headed out for brunch. Something we rarely do here in London.

Our chosen spot was The Woleseley in Piccadilly and with a mind boggling list to choose from, we couldn't help but order savoury and sweet options. After all, it was a special occasion!

London Fashion Week - LFW Somerset House 2014

London went crazy the past few weeks, with new collections on display to after parties galore.

Browsing around with my girls was just enough to settle my LFW cravings.

New York to London - Balthazar Cafe

With Mr. Rob miraculously in the country for just over a week, we thought we'd make use of the evenings after work. I ran, tripped and skipped trains and tubes to meet him in Covent Garden; where we weaved through the cobbled streets and brushed passed tourists ending up in in this quaint little café by the name of Balthazar.

Famous for it's New York bistro restaurant, which opened up on Russell Street, they complimented this ever so popular spot with a coffee shop next door. It's small, smells of fresh pastries, with a whiff of freshly baked artisan breads and cakes, entwined in coffee. What's not to love, right?

Eat in, or take out, this place is a perfect pit stop to pick up some treats.

Excuse my iPhone photo quality. I clearly wasn't ready for this impromptu evening with my camera!
