December Diaries, Dubai

Ladies & Gents, yes, yes, I know I haven't blogged in a while but do not fret people, I am back from a little Xmas/NY hiatus.

I have been tripping around a few countries and to start it off I shall be blogging about my 2 amazing days spent in Dubai for New years Eve and New years day.

Since we were stopping by Dubai on the way back from Bangladesh to England, we decided it'd be wise to stay in downtown Dubai as we weren't planning on going to the beach or doing anything crazy like going out into the dessert or to the Atlantis. So we booked a brand new hotel called the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel which is located in the business bay area and literally 10 mins from Burj Khalifa.

Although we initially wanted to stay at the Shangri-La Dubai Hotel, but sadly no rooms due to it being new years eve. All the hotels were in dubai wether in the Marina, or Jumeirah or Downtown, every hotel we liked was fully booked! It was nuts. Nevertheless the Marquis hotel was stunning, and we loved it even more because everything was new and not to mention it is the world tallest hotel

We flew in, rested, refreshed and headed to Dubai Mall for a browse them went on to a meal with my parents at The Armani Hotel inside the Burj Khalifa

Enjoy the pictures!

Packed and all ready to go!

Leaving Bangladesh (Another post on that will be coming up shortly!)

Arrived in DXB - JW MArriott MArquis Hotel.

The room was stunning, as was the bathroom! It might be odd but we really carefully pick our hotels and Mr. Rob and I are really fussy about bathrooms, but this particular one was perfect!

Dusty windows from the sand but was a beautiful sunset at Maghrib.

Rested, and all ready to go!...

Haha i made him take pictures of me :D

Ootd: Zara white shirt with studded collar, black trousers, Jimmy Choo sandals, Statement necklace was a wedding present, and  my Jimmy Choo clutch.

Hotel, lounge.
